Yukiko Hasegawa

Yukiko Hasegawa (Hamamatsu, Japan) begins with her piano lessons at the age of four. Since 1998 she studies piano with Moto Sasaki, Tusa Ertzebet and Amadeus Webersinke in Tokyo, where she receives a master degree in 2004. That same year she starts to play the fortepianos at the Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments and develops an interest for authentic instruments. In 2005 Yukiko moves to The Netherlands to continue her piano study at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Willem Brons, complemented with a bachelor fortepiano study with Bart van Oort and Stanley Hoogland. She receives her Bachelor diploma for piano in 2008 and for fortepiano in 2009. In these years Yukiko is an ambassadorial scholar of the International Rotary Foundation. Yukiko receives in 2011 the master degree for piano at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.

Yukiko gives concerts in The Netherlands, Japan and in Germany. She made her orchestra debut in 2004, performing Beethovens fifth Piano Concerto with the Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Roland Bader. She appears in numerous festivals as the Utrecht Oude Muziek Festival, Grachtenfestival, Masterclass Apeldoorn, the Zeister Muziekdagen and the Schiermonnikoog Festival. From 2012 Yukiko is invited as a class accompanist of The International Holland Music Sessions and pianist for the Cellofestival Zutphen and  Amsterdam Bass 2014.
In 2014 Yukiko organizes with PodiumTalent Nederland the “Festival der Kunsten Statenkwartier” in The Hague, a festival for young professional artists and musicians.  

Yukiko is affiliated to the Utrechts Centrum voor de Kunsten (UCK) as teacher in the Pi-department.
