Wei Wei Li
Wei Wei is a Taiwanese soprano who is currently pursuing her study at Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Sasja Hunnego. Because of her previous experience, she is aiming to look for various possibilities of the voice in body, music and speech.
In 2016, she was invited to sing the solo soprano in Mozart’s Requiem in D minor as part of the Yale-Singapore gala concert in the Singapore Esplanade Concert Hall. Under the leadership of Maestro Masaaki Suzuki, she also performed as soloist in Bach cantata concerts and Pulcinella by Igor Stravinsky. In her last study year in Singapore, she sang the role of Galatea in Handel's opera Acis and Galatea, which was her operatic debut.
Wei Wei has worked with several renowned teachers and coaches such as Roger Vignoles, Ira Siff, Mia Im, Danielle Orlando, Jan Lund, Maree Ryan, Daune Mahy and Sead Buljubasic.
