Twan van der Wolde

Twan van der Wolde graduated in 2024 from the Prins Claus Conservatory in Groningen, where he studied with vocal coach Hanneke de Wit. He is currently studying with Maarten Koningsberger. He is a member of professional choirs such as Cappella Amsterdam, the Netherlands Chamber Choir, and Consensus Vocalis.

As a tenor soloist, he has participated in a production of Die Zauberflöte by the Dutch National Opera Academy with the Residentie Orchestra under the direction of Patrick Lange, performing the roles of Sklave, Zweiter Priester, and Erster Geharnischter.

He has worked with conductors such as Peter Dijkstra, Jos Vermunt, Boudewijn Jansen, Louis Buskens, Rob Vermeulen, and Nico van der Meel, as well as with ensembles like Pearls in Baroque, the Luthers Bach Ensemble, Concerto d'Amsterdam, and The Northern Consort.

Additionally, he has performed works such as Mozart’s Requiem, masses by Haydn and Mozart, Britten’s Saint Nicolas Cantata, oratorios including Stainer’s The Crucifixion, Saint-Saëns’ Oratorio de Noël, Handel’s Messiah and Saul, as well as Bach’s St. Matthew Passion, St. John Passion, Mass in B minor, Christmas Oratorio, and many of his cantatas.
