Silhouet Kwartet
The Silhouette Quartet exists of Lyke Nota (violin), Vera Backer (violin), Niek de Boer (viola) and Joost de Boer (cello). Since September 2021 the quartet studies with Jan-Ype Nota in the Youth Talent Class of the Prince Claus Conservatoire.
In 2021 the quartet took part in the SUmmer Academy of the Aurora Festival, where they won the Emmy Verhey Award: they were invited to perform at the Emmy Verhey Festival. They followed masterclasses with the Delta Piano Trio and the Alma Quartet.
The Silhouette Quartet performs regularly in Groningen and surroundings.
