Nóra Takács
Nóra Takács is a versatile, lively Hungarian percussionist born in 2000. Between 2016-2018 she was part of the young talents class at the University of Pécs (Hungary). Currently she is a graduate Bachelor student at the Prins Claus Conservatory under the guidance of renowned percussionists Tatiana Koleva, Joeke Hoekstra and Mihály Kaszás.
Since her first solo recital at the age of 18 in Pécs (Hungary) she has performed at multiple events and venues, such as the SopronDrum festival (2018), Sounds of Music Festival (2019,2022), the Amsterdam Marimba Weekend (2022) or the Jan Pustjens Focus Day (2023). She has performed as a timpani player with the Kamerorkest van het Noorden and the Hanze Symphony orchestra. She has worked with and is doing an internship as a percussionist at the Noord Nederlands Orkest and. has also played with the Pannon Filharmonics (HU).
In addition to her numerous and varying performances as a soloist and ensemble member, Nóra has played in masterclasses for internationally regarded percussionists such as Fumito Nunoya, Nancy Zeltsman, Rachel Xi Zhang, Johan Hoffman and Frank Wardenier.
From a young age, Nóra has been interested in composition, leading her to recently begin composing and make recordings, especially since commencing her studies. She is particularly interested in broadening the musical horizon by combining different genres of arts into her projects.
