Madeline Saputra
Madeline Saputra is a soprano from Indonesia. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in classical singing in Conservatorium van Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Growing up, she has always showed great affinity towards music and the arts, and she began singing in choirs which introduced her to classical music and led her to take singing and piano lessons.
She is now studying under the guidance of Sasja Hunnego and attends coachings and masterclasses from time to time with several singers, some of whom are Margreet Honig, Ira Siff, Barbara Bonney, Roberta Alexander, and Alexander Oliver. Her musical versatility renders her at home in a range of repertoire from early to contemporary music – she recently performed a contemporary opera in Opera Forward Festival in the Dutch National Opera. In 2023, she won a scholarship from the Eva Kleinitz Opera Europa Competition. She has also worked with conductor Ed Spanjaard, and correpetitors such as David Bollen and Gerardo Felisatti.
