Johan Hofmann

Johan Hofmann performed on concerts in most European countries and the United States. With Judith van Wanrij and Bert Honig he is the core of Le Nouveau Concert, which performed with various guest musicians at many venues and festivals such as the Vlaamse Opera, Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, Netwerk Oude Muziek and the Peter de Grote Festival. He played solo recitals in countries such as Swiss, Austria, Germany and Spain. 

Johan is a well known pedagogue. He teaches harpsichord and basso continuo, chamber music, improvisation and courses about historical performances at the Conservatoire of Amsterdam and the Prins Claus Conservatoire in Groningen. He is a guest teacher at the conservatoires of The Hague, Arnhem, Enschede, Tilburg and Zwolle. He gives many masterclasses in countries such as Italy, Germany, Czech Republic and Lithouania.
