Jantina Rozema

Jantina started playing the bugle at the age of seven. She was admitted into the young talent class of the Ferwerda Academy. She continued her studies on the trumpet at the Prince Claus Conservatoire with Auke van der Merk and Bob Koertshuis. She also studied with Uwe Köller (German Brass). She received masterclasses by a.o. Peter Masseurs, Willem van Vliet, Matthias Höfs en Ole Edvard Antonsen.  

She was awarded prizes and awards at the Haydn Muziek Festival and the Instruvo festival. 

She performed with many orchestras such as the Jeugd Orkest Nederland, the Duisburg Philharmoniker, Bremer Philharmoniker, the NNO and the Gelders Orkest. 

Currently Jantina works at the Regimentsfanfare Garde Grenadiers en Jagers.
