Iris van Nuland
Iris studied with Koosje van Haeringen and Peter Brunt at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. She continied her studies with Peter Brunt and with Maria Milstein at the Conservatoire of Amsterdam.
She won various awards, amongst which the first prize at the Prinses Christina Concours and the third prize at the Nederlands Vioolconcours. She also won awards at the Peter de Grote Festival, the Archipel Muziekconcours, Superkids on RTL4 and the Internationale Wettbewerb für junge Geiger of the Muziekacademie Anton Rubinstein in Düsseldorf.
Iris performed with orchestras such ad the Jeugdorkest Nederland with Jurjen Hempel, in the concert hall of the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven with the Philips Symfonie Orkest by Julesvan Hessen and with the Residentie Orkest in Tivoli Vredenburg. she performed on occasions such as the Nationale Bevrijdingsdag, Podium Witteman and Radio 4.
