Enzo kok
Enzo studied at the Sweelinck Academy, Young Talent Class of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Wiesje Miedema and Eliot Lawson. In September 2019, he began his classical violin education at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Ilya Grubert and Eliot Lawson.
In 2017, he reached the semifinals of the Royal Concertgebouw Competition. In the summer of 2017, he won the Labberté-Hoedemakers Award during the Peter de Grote Festival in Groningen. In January 2018, he was a finalist in the Dutch Violin Competition, Davina van Wely category (14 to 17 years old). In May 2019, he won first prize during the national finals of the Prinses Christina Competition.
Enzo performs concerts as a soloist and chamber musician in the Netherlands and abroad. He has performed concerts in Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, and Portugal, and he has concerts planned in the United States and Canada. Enzo has made several TV appearances, he was a finalist on the RTL4 program "Superkids" in 2015, and he placed 2nd in the German version of the program on Sat1 in 2016. He has also been invited several times to perform on Podium Witteman and can frequently be heard on NPO Radio 4.
Enzo has played with several renowned musicians such as Daniel Rowland, Lisa Jacobs, Iris Hond, and members of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Enzo has also taken masterclasses with famous violinists such as Vera Beths, Simone Lamsma, Stephan Picard, Lisa Jacobs, Daniel Rowland, Philippe Graffin, Isabelle van Keulen, Tim Kliphuis, and others.
Enzo plays a 1707 Carlo Antonio Testore violin, provided to him by the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
