Ellyne Wieringa
Ellyne Wieringa is a young pianist from the Netherlands, active at home and abroad as a soloist and chamber musician. She can be heard regularly in concert halls, festivals and more intimate occasions. She played several times in the large hall of De Doelen in Rotterdam. She was also heard live on Radio 4, including a live broadcast from the Spiegelzaal in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Recently Ellyne started as a classical programmer at the Rietveld Theater in Delft where she will set up series of chamber music concerts.
In 2019 Ellyne obtained her Master of Music at the Prince Claus Conservatoire in Groningen. There she studied with Paul Komen and Nata Tsvereli. She followed the bachelor and the young talent preparatory course with pianist Bart van de Roer and Stéphane de May at Codarts, the conservatory of Rotterdam.
During her studies, Ellyne was active in various ensembles, including Pianoduo Elan. With Elan, Ellyne has immersed her in the art of piano duo playing. Ellyne is currently mainly active as a chamber musician in collaboration with various musicians and ensembles, such as Trio Sphera. The newly formed piano trio is coached by various teachers from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, such as Peter Brunt and Ellen Corver. Trio Sphera has received grants in 2021 to participate in the 66th edition of the International Chamber Music Campus of Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland and the European Chamber Music Summer Course of the Orlando Festival.
