Daniel Lanthier
Daniel Lanthier, born in Montreal, has an international career which brings him to various European countries, the United States and a number of countries in the Middle-East, where he performs with ensembles such as the Concerto Köln (Germany), Arion Baroque Orchestra (Canada) and Il Giardino Armonico (Italy). He performed as soloist with Concerto Copenhagen, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Le Concert Lorrain.
Daniel teaches historical oboe at the Conservatoire of Utrecht and shares his knowledge and passion for early music by teaching masterclasses at the Prince Claus Conservatoire, the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal and the Summer School of the Ochsenhausen-klooster in Germany.
Daniel Lanthier has recorded various CD's on the Harmonia Mundi, Berlin Classics and Sony Classical labels.
