Cosima Quintet

The Cosima Brass Quintet is an ensemble that brings together five young musicians of four different nationalities, The Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and France. Andreas, Daniël, Janire, João and Richard got to know each other during various projects of the National Youth Orchestra of The Netherlands (NJO). On this
common ground, they built the Cosima Brass Quintet. 

Some of them are in the final stages of their studies, while the others have now graduated from the conservatories of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague or Groningen. Together they strive to create a magical sound together, presenting their instruments in all their versatility. They have a special interest in the connection between music and text.
