Chimaera Trio

The Chimaera Trio, with members Annemiek de Bruin (clarinet), Irene Kok (cello) and Laurens de Man (piano) ses itsels as an ambassador of the unusual combination of clarinet, cello and piano. Soon after the trio started they were invited to the Internationaal Kamermuziekfestival Utrecht and they won prizes at the Tristan Keuris Kamermuziekconcours and the Storioni Concours. This success resulted in a long term collaboration; they performed at various venues such as the Amsterdamse Concertgebouw and Muziekgebouw Eindhoven,and was invited to various festivals. In 2019 the trio was part of the talent competition “AVROTROS Klassiek presenteert!”, which resulted in a cd recording and a number of performances in national media such as Radio 4 and NTR Podium.
