Abraxas Trio

We are the Abraxas Trio: Itxaso Etxeberria (Spain) on the piano, Philipp Diederich (Germany)  on the saxophone and Mariana Hernández (Mexico) on the violin. The love for music from all eras connects us. Our motto is: experience, discover, stay curious!

Our enjoyment of different styles, from baroque to contemporary music, is the inspiration for exciting programs in which we also like to work crossover, combine different styles, and experiment with compositions. The influence of our cultures gives our playing an extraordinary timbre. Our composition enables us to offer our listeners a special and varied variety of repertoire, for all formations as duo and trio.
